Accessed through a still life painting found near the kitchens; to reach it, you enter a door to the right of the main staircase in the Entrance Hall and down a staircase there.

The common room and dormitories are located within Ravenclaw tower, on the West side of the castle. The entrance is a door on the fifth floor, with neither keyhole nor handle.

The Slytherin common room and dormitories are located under the lake, and are accessed through a door to the left of the main staircase in the Entrance Hall. No password is required to pass through the large doors at the bottom of the stairs, only a key.
